In Sunbridge’s eyes

A focused newcomer betting on all-in-one

ESY SUNHOME cut its teeth as a Shenzhen battery and BMS maker before moving into home storage in 2021, and it landed in Australia in 2023 with a single, focused product — the all-in-one HM6. It’s a newer name here rather than an established one, so the pitch isn’t heritage; it’s an integrated battery-plus-inverter unit that keeps installs tidy and the price sharp.

  • True all-in-one — battery, 6 kW hybrid inverter and control in one CEC-approved enclosure.
  • Modular 5.12 kWh blocks scaling to 30.72 kWh.
  • 6 kW backup with solar recharge during blackouts, IP66-rated for outdoors.
  • Value-oriented pricing against the tier-one all-in-ones, with a 10-year warranty.
Best suited to

single-phase homes wanting a compact, keenly priced all-in-one — buyers comfortable backing a newer-to-Australia brand.

The right fit for your home — and fully backed

Why the HM5 Home Battery fits your home

Everyday single-phase homes

A 5 kW single-phase all-in-one system for homes that want to store rooftop solar and use it across the evening peak.

Flexible sizing

Scale from 1 to 6 LFP modules — 5.12 to 30.72 kWh — to match your solar and usage.

Clean outdoor install

IP66-rated outdoor design with up to 8 kW PV input and ≥ 6,000-cycle life.

Compact footprint

A single all-in-one enclosure combines battery, inverter and control, saving wall space over multi-component systems.

Warranty & compliance
  • The ESY SUNHOME HM5 is backed by a 10-year warranty. Over the warranty term, the battery is guaranteed to retain at least 70% of its original usable capacity, or until it reaches its guaranteed energy throughput per module, whichever comes first.
  • These are the manufacturer’s terms; your guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply in addition. Sunbridge confirms the current warranty terms for your configuration and registers the warranty on your behalf as part of the installation.
Rebates & payback guidance
  • Home battery storage can be eligible for government rebates and incentives, which change over time and vary by state and household. A correctly sized HM5 system — paired with the right rebate — can meaningfully shorten your payback period.
  • Sunbridge handles rebate guidance as part of the quote process: we check current eligibility, factor available incentives into your system design, and show you the expected payback based on your actual usage. See our battery rebate guidance for more, and we will confirm what applies to your address when you request a quote.
