About LONGi
LONGi brings high-efficiency mono-crystalline cell technology and low-degradation module design together for reliable long-term solar generation.
LONGi develops high-efficiency mono-crystalline solar modules with half-cut cell technology. Its panels are designed to maximise output per square metre and maintain performance over long operating lifetimes.
High-efficiency mono-crystalline cells are designed to maximise output from limited roof space.
Half-cut cell construction helps reduce resistive losses and improve shade tolerance.
Modules are designed to retain a high share of their rated output over decades of operation.
In Sunbridge’s eyes
LONGi built the modern solar industry from the wafer up — founded in Xi’an in 2000, it grew into the world’s largest maker of monocrystalline silicon wafers and the R&D house that keeps breaking the silicon cell-efficiency world record, hitting 27.81% in 2025. In Australia it’s a Tier 1 mainstay with a local warranty office and a long run of PVEL “Top Performer” results.

LONGi Hi-MO X10 Guardian LR7-72HVHF — High-efficiency back-contact module

LONGi LR7-72HVHF · with Sunbridge
Why the LR7-72HVHF fits your home
A high-power module designed for larger rooftops, delivering lower LCOE and higher energy yield from the available area.
Back-contact (BC) cell technology enables lower operating temperature and higher power output.
First-year degradation under 1% and just 0.35%/year afterwards, backed by a 30-year power warranty.
Back-contact cells have no front busbars, giving a clean all-black module that looks tidy on the roof.

The detail
Specifications are based on the LONGi Hi-MO X10 Guardian LR7-72HVHF datasheet (20240927 V01 draft). Some electrical values vary by power bin; Sunbridge confirms the exact module and final specifications for your system.
Sunbridge considers your roof space, orientation, shading, energy use and future storage plans before recommending panels or a system size.
High-efficiency modules maximise output per square metre.
Half-cut cell design helps limit shading losses.
Low degradation supports decades of generation.
Efficient modules suit higher-output system designs.
Final suitability depends on your roof space, orientation, shading, existing system and future storage plans.
FAQ
It is a high-power back-contact (BC) solar module rated from 640 W to 670 W, reaching up to 24.8% module efficiency. It is part of LONGi’s Hi-MO X10 Guardian series, built on the HPBC back-contact cell platform.
In a back-contact cell the electrical contacts are moved to the rear of the cell instead of shading the front. That means more of the front surface captures sunlight, giving higher efficiency, a cleaner all-black look and a lower operating temperature.
At 2382 mm long it is a large, high-power module best suited to larger residential and commercial rooftops. Because each panel produces so much, you need fewer of them for a given system size. Sunbridge assesses your roof and recommends the module that fits best.
LONGi rates first-year power degradation at under 1% and just 0.35% per year from years 2–30, and backs it with a 30-year power warranty guaranteeing at least 88.85% of rated power at year 30.
Yes. The panels can feed a compatible hybrid inverter and battery so more of your daytime generation is stored for evening and peak-time use. Final design depends on inverter compatibility, metering and your home electrical setup.
