About Sigenergy

Bidirectional DC charging built into an integrated home energy system

Sigenergy brings solar, battery storage, EV charging and energy management together in the SigenStor system, with a bidirectional DC charging module that lets an EV both draw from and give energy back to the home.

Sigenergy focuses on integrated home energy, and its SigenStor EVDC is a bidirectional DC charging module rather than a standalone wall box. It charges the car directly from solar and battery on the DC side, and can discharge the car back to the home or grid through V2H and V2G. It operates only as part of a SigenStor system.

  • Bidirectional charging

The charger can move energy both ways, so an EV can charge from the home and discharge back to it through V2H and V2G.

  • DC-coupled efficiency

Charging directly on the DC side avoids conversion losses, so more solar and battery energy reaches the vehicle.

  • Integrated with SigenStor

The charging module works within the SigenStor system, coordinating EV charging with solar, storage and household demand.

In Sunbridge’s eyes

Bidirectional charging, built into the SigenStor

Sigenergy makes two very different EV chargers: a Red Dot-winning AC wallbox (7 to 22 kW, single- or three-phase) for everyday charging, and the one that matters for the ecosystem — the SigenStor DC charging module. That module is DC-coupled and bidirectional, pushing 12.5 or 25 kW straight from your panels or battery into the car at over 97% efficiency, and it’s built for V2H and V2G so the EV can act as a second home battery. It’s genuinely clever kit — just note the DC module isn’t a standalone wallbox (it only works as part of a SigenStor system), and full V2G export is still waiting on Australian network approval.

  • One ecosystem, one app — solar, SigenStor battery and EV charging all run through mySigen, with true solar-surplus and 100% PV charging modes.
  • DC-coupled bidirectional charging (12.5 or 25 kW) skips the AC round-trip, hits 97%+ efficiency, and enables V2H today on supported EVs.
  • The Sigen AC charger auto-switches between three-phase and single-phase and trims to household load, so it won’t trip your main.
  • Backed by Sigenergy’s Australian presence and installed as part of a CEC-listed SigenStor system by accredited installers.
Best suited to

homes already running (or buying) a SigenStor battery that want DC-coupled, bidirectional charging — V2H now, V2G once network approval lands — rather than anyone after a simple standalone wallbox.

The right fit for your home — and fully backed

Why the Sigen EV AC Charger fits your home

Everyday home charging

A Red Dot-winning AC wallbox that charges any EV at 7, 11 or 22 kW — a straightforward, reliable charger you can use with or without solar.

Sigenergy solar households

Paired with a SigenStor system, it unlocks Sigen AI, PV-surplus and smart-schedule charging through the mySigen app, so more of your driving runs on your own rooftop solar.

Homes tight on supply capacity

Dynamic load management and automatic phase switching keep charging within your switchboard limit, so you can add an EV without tripping the main or upgrading your supply.

Rugged, quick-install build

IP65 and IK10 rated with no power derating at 55 °C, and a click-in connector that brings fit-off down to around 15 minutes.
